God’s love is constant for all people. God’s commitment to love and sustain us despite ourselves is perfect. Whether wandering away, or struggling with an issue, or laboring for a cause, God is the presence and force of active love in our lives if we remain close to God. There is a grain of complaining in the readings today. People who complain are a nuisance, except for God. God knows our complaints and is willing to hear them; more willing, it turns out than most of us are eager to hear complaining voices.
