Colossians 3:1-4; John 20:1-10
Remembered in Christian Creeds as on the third day, John’s story of Easter is the transformation of a Garden Tomb into the New Eden. It’s there that Jesus and Mary Magdalene become the New Adam and the New Eve, consummating a new creation that became the Church, the Bride of Christ, and the visible presence of God’s love and mercy on earth.
